What are your washing instructions for your Cushion Covers?

Care Instructions for Cotton Cushion Covers

Wash immediately after use to avoid permanent stains.
Use a phosphate-free detergent for longer colour life.
Wash in cold water (max 30°)
Wash inside out
Spot clean any stains. Avoid hard scrubbing to prevent wear and discolouration.
Hang dry or tumble dry on a low temperature. Always iron cover inside out.

Wipe immediately with a damp soapy cloth or baby/disinfectant wipe after each use to avoid permanent stains

How to clean my placemat/bib/bowl/plate?

Our silicone products can either be handwashed with warm soapy water or cleaned in the dishwasher. Dishwasher cleaning is completely safe and we recommend putting the product on the top rack of your dishwasher.

We suggest avoiding any abrasive cleaning products (i.e. wire brushes) so that the silicone doesn’t get damaged.

If I accidentally stain one of my silicone products, what do I do?

Silicone is a very stain resistant material. You may see some slight staining if the product comes into contact with foods such as tomato based pasta sauces or turmeric (or as we found lily pollen!). However, we’ve found that stains should naturally come out with continued use and cleaning.

Will your suction bowls and plates work with the placemat?

Yes! Our placemats create the perfect surface for our suction bowls and plates to stick to and stay firmly in place. If the bottom of the bowl/plate gets dirty then it may affect the suction and we recommend giving the underside of the bowl/plate a clean if this happens.

Is silicone a safe product for my child to eat from?

All our silicone products are safe to use. Our products are made from hypoallergenic food grade silicone that does not contain lead, BPA or phthalates

Can I heat up food in the microwave on the bowl/plate?

Yes absolutely! My First Plate and the Discovery Bowl are completely safe for use in household microwaves.
